Description
Welcome to my auction.....actually, welcome to my collection! This is probably the sadest day of my life but I must say that i'll be happy to make someone very proud, perhaps someone very lucky this christmas?:) I won't get into details about why I have to give up my collection but I ask please, only serious bidders, these items are ALL authentic and ALL produced in and around 1997 to help promote the game, sorry. I am a HUGE fan of Cloud Strife and the game itself, so I hope you now know why alot of the collection is Cloud oriented. So here is what you are bidding on in great detail: BOOKS: I have 3 books up for auction, the first is the Final Fantasy VII Official Establishment File which was published in 1997 by Aspect and edited by Famitsu. It has 96 color pages and one pull-out double sided poster featuring art of Yoshitaka Amano. The book includes pictures and some concept art from the game as well as gaming tips. The second is the Guide Book Series Final Fantasy VII by DigiCube in 1997 has 64 color pages of gaming tips and pictures from the game and concept art. The third is the Final Fantasy VII International Post Card Book. This small and rare book includes two sheets of stickers and many postcards featuring pictures from the game and original background concept art by Kusanagi. Please note that 2 of the postcards are loose. The forth is the Final Fantasy VII Ultimate Guide by Versus Books, it is probably the most sought after and expensive Final Fantasy VII book. It is considered to have lots of gaming tips for people hoping to really master the game and is also almost spoiler free. The guide also includes a big pull out poster but mine is NOT attached. CHROME FIGURE: I have one rare Cloud Strife chrome figure up for auction (#0380), the Final Fantasy VII Chrome Figures are small metallic statues by Square. Cloud, is the one I have up for auction. Each figure is limited to 3000 pieces and individually numbered. The statues are very rare and pricy. COCA COLA ITEMS: I have 3 coca cola figures, 2 Vol. 1 Coca Cola promotional figures, both the Cloud Strife figures are small and made of plastic, and were acquired randomly from little bags attached to Coca Cola bottles during the campaign in 2000. The red crystal version Cloud is said to be slightly rarer than the other figures. 1 Vol. 2 Coca Cola promotional figure, crystal Cloud Strife, like the Vol. 1 figures, Vol. 2 figures are small and made of plastic, and were acquired randomly from little bags attached to Coca Cola bottles during the campaign in 2000. The figures of Vol. 2 are considered more popular, rare and pricy than the Vol. 1 figures. COLD CAST: Up for auction is Cloud Strife extremely rare ORIGINAL PRODUCTION(#1236) cold cast, the Final Fantasy VII Cold Casts or Statues were made by the famous Kotobukiya, a Japanese company know to make high quality statues. All cold cast statues are highly collectable and popular FFVII items. Each of these statues was limited to 5000 pieces, and came with an individually numbered card. These statues were re-released in 2004, this time spray painted and without the individual numbering. Please note that there is a very small chip in the buster sword, but this hardly affects the beauty of this statue. EXTRA KNIGHTS (JAPAN): Up for auction is the very rare YELLOW HAIRED NOT brown haired Cloud Strife action figure. The Extra Knights Japan version figures were made by Bandai in 1997. “First editions”, which are said to be more rare and valuable than the later ones. The first edition figures can be told from the later edition figures only by some small differences in the details of the figures. For example, the first edition version of Cloud has light yellow hair as compared to the brownish  hair of the more common version. The Extra Knights Japan figures are one of the most popular and sought-after FFVII collectibles. They are fairly rare, especially the sealed ones, which this one is! KEYCHAINS: Up for auction is 1 Cloud Strife and Chocobo figure keychain. The Volume 1 Figure Keychains were made by Banpresto and released in Japan in 1996 as promotional items.  The tags in this series are white. The tag on this ketchain is still fully intact. I will also send 2 more keychains, 1 of Cloud Strife and 1 of him on a chocobo, The FF VII Swing Figure Keychains were made by Bandai in 1997. These keychains are smaller than the figure keychains and do not come with attached tags, instead they have ball-shaped capsules and 2 leaflet inserts. The keychains of this series were only obtainable from the Gashapon toy dispensers in Japan for a limited time. Note that they do NOT come with leaflet inserts. MISC: Up for auction is The FF VII Collector's Video and CD which are American promo items with FFVII and other Squaresoft games related material on them. The video also has an interview of Hironobu Sakaguchi and the 3 North American TV trailer ads. Up for auction is a Cloud Strife FF VII Candy Figure, this is a small, bluish chibi figure made by Bandai in 1997. They could only be acquired from Japanese "Shokugan" candy boxes for a limited time. The boxes also included mini cards which I dont have. Up for auction is the Final Fantasy VII Preview disc from 1996 Tokyo Game Show which is a very early and rare promotional item. It includes a FFVII sample and Siggraph 95 works. Note that this item only plays in Japanese based systems (NTSC J). PHONECARD: Up for auction is 1 very rare LIMITED EDITION (#0176) Cloud Strife phonecard still in its original case with dog tag. The Japanese gold colored phonecards were limited to 3000 pieces each and individually numbered. They came with a plastic case and dog tag with a corresponding picture. They are rare and valuable items, just like all limited, individually numbered FFVII collectibles. PINS: Up for auction is 1 Cloud Strife Official Final Fantasy VII Pin. The set was released by Bandai in 1997, and the pins could only be acquired from the Gashapon toy dispensers for a limited time. The pins came in a capsule with a paper insert. This pin does NOT come with the paper insert. PLUSH TOY: Up for auction is an extremely rare Vol. 2 plush Cloud Strife doll. The Plush Toys, UFO Catchers, are soft, fabric dolls originally acquired from the crane games in the Japanese arcade halls. They were never sold in stores, and are very popular among collectors.  The availability is quite limited, and prices accordingly quite high. This dolls tag has been removed but stored properly in a card protector sleeve. The Banpresto authenticity tag is still attached. SOUNDTRACK: Up for auction is 1 very rare limited edition FFVII OST, that was supposingly manufactured for only one day. This 4 CD set comes in a large special box with a metal plate on front, and includes two booklets consisting of photos and art of FFVII. This version of the OST is very rare and has high collectable value. The catalog number of the origial DigiCube release is SSCX10003. Note that the one booklets front cover is stuck to the back of the inner CD case sleeve, you can still view every picure which are still perfectly intact, it's just stuck because the meteor was made of glow in the dark glue. STATIONARY: Up for auction is 1 new FFVII pencil board. MATERIA: Up for auction is 1 BAHAMUT materia set, comes with inscribed pedastool which holds a beautiful glass materia and collectors card. I have a CD somewhere with BAHAMUT in sommoning action right out of the game but I have to find it:(  PROMO: Up for auction is 1 very rare 3-D Cloud Strife promotional cardboard stand up. Well that's all, I hope with all this being said  you can trust that I am very honest and knowledgeable about FFVII collectibles, if there are any questions at all please ask away, I can send individual pictures if you desire. Please respect the price for this all took quite a while to aquire, i'm certain the lucky winner, if there will be one, will be very pleased!!!! oh and one more thing, I will be setting the shipping price quite high only because i'm not sure how much it will cost to ship everything, it will be shipped in 1 or 2 loads, VERY VERY CAREFULLY, If it costs less than what I asked of then I will send a money order of the difference, be aware that I will only send once payment is indefinitely received! thank you and GOOD LUCK!!!
